“She is kind, understanding and thorough. Ashley is full of insight and knowledge, not only has she helped me with my difficulties to not be overwhelmed, but now we are working on inner child work which is hopefully the last piece to help with my past trauma. If not I’m confident in Ashley and personally feel therapy is needed on an off through our lives anyway. Path has made going to therapy so convenient.”

Getting to know Ashley Newman

The pressures of the modern world seem never-ending, especially when dealing with an untreated or difficult-to-treat mental health or substance use disorder. Whether it is postpartum depression, anxiety, psychosis, general depression, anxiety, self-harm, psychosis, or challenges coping with chemical dependency, I am prepared to assist you by offering helpful coping strategies, understanding the psychology behind your experiences and symptoms, processing feelings and thoughts, and gaining better traction in your life. I enjoy working with families, parents, and adolescents struggling with mental health issues. My specialty is in mental health disorders and substance use (dual diagnosis). I have worked with individuals impacted by cycles of trauma, violence, and substances in various settings, including psychiatric hospitals, county jail, intensive outpatient programs, and traditional outpatient clinics. My mission is to help people thrive despite these circumstances. I understand that both making sense of the issues at hand and reaching out can be incredibly anxiety-producing. What I provide is a safe and warm space where you can explore your needs, current feelings, history, and goals. You have the power to stop fighting what is out of your control and harness your strength to control what is within your grasp. I hold a Master's in Social Work from California State University, San Bernardino, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively on your journey toward healing and growth.
