Getting to know Ashley Reed

Hello, thank you for visiting my webpage. I want to support you on whatever journey comes our way. I have 8 years of experience, including my internship and work as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), specializing in anxiety, depression, and trauma. Being married myself, I understand the challenges couples face and am here to help with a tune-up or a fresh start. I empower clients to explore different ways of thinking about life's challenges by offering various problem-solving strategies, improving communication, and fostering assertiveness and self-confidence while encouraging the release of past hurts. I earned my Master's in Counseling from Pepperdine University, which has equipped me with the skills to provide compassionate and effective care. I strive to listen deeply to clients at their lowest lows and highest highs, integrating Christian views and values whenever appropriate.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients can expect me to get information with a visual prompt, to gain insight about their current symptoms, what thoughts they are thinking and actions that have been taken within the last month. Clients are given the opportunity to share and collaboratively talk about goals and discuss the therapist’s framework. A month into sessions, the client and therapist work on evidenced-based worksheets or watch videos, according to set goals, while also building rapport.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
