As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I bring a diverse background working with a variety of people. I've had the privilege of working with clients in community-based settings, inpatient and outpatient mental health hospitals, and within the mental health and substance abuse court systems. My experience spans individual, couples, family, and group therapy, and I have a particular passion for working with veterans. No matter what obstacle you're facing, I'm here to help. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health, a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, and a PhD in Higher Education Administration. I'm also a National Certified Counselor through the National Board of Certified Counselors and a Moral Reconation Therapy Certified Therapist. Additionally, I'm a S.Y.M.B.I.S. (Save Your Marriage Before It Starts - faith-based) certified counselor. My specialties include addiction, bipolar disorder, PTSD, intimate and romantic relationships, stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, LGBTQIA+ support, anger management, antisocial behavior, life transitions, and multicultural/diversity issues. I also offer SonderMind Video Telehealth for those who prefer virtual sessions. In our sessions, you can expect a compassionate, non-judgmental environment where your unique experiences and perspectives are valued. My goal is to help you find clarity, build resilience, and achieve the personal growth you're seeking.
