Ashley earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northern Illinois University. She has extensive experience in community and school settings as well as in crisis and legal situations. Her approach includes cognitive-behavioral, family systems, and person-centered techniques, but treatment is tailored to each individual’s specific needs. Ashley is warm and energetic, and her strengths as a therapist include creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment. She uses humor to build strong rapport so that each client feels comfortable and validated.
