Getting to know Ashli Jones
I humbly see therapy as a collaborative process every step of the way—from introductions to goal setting and through achieving short- and long-term goals. I believe that each individual, couple, and family has a unique way of relating to the world at large, and I treat each person based on their distinct needs and preferences. I use a plethora of therapeutic techniques designed to meet almost any treatment goal, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Resiliency, Psychoanalysis, and Existential approaches, to name a few.
My approach is grounded in this diverse toolkit, allowing me to tailor interventions to best support each client’s journey. I earned my Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling from Arkansas State University, which has further enriched my understanding and skills in guiding clients toward healing and growth.
My focus is to use discernment, humor, wisdom, and spirituality to positively impact the lives of those I serve—children, adults, couples, geriatric clients, PTSD survivors, individuals battling substance abuse, and beyond.
My communication style is often very lively and jovial, yet pensive when a situation calls for more seriousness. I enjoy connecting deeply with all of my clients. To date, I have had the privilege of helping families break intergenerational curses, supporting couples who come back from the brink of divorce to enjoy healthy marriages again, and guiding individuals to learn and apply the steps necessary to live their best lives.
My journey to therapy has been shaped by my role as a diverse and ethical leader and visionary, taking great pride in overseeing large-scale behavioral health organizations throughout Arkansas and Florida.
