FL
Hi there, I'm Attia! Hello, my name is Attia Saeed, lic. no. MH8068. Do you struggle with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, challenging relationships, or loss of self? These issues affect daily life, relationships, work, and career. Do you wonder if your life could be better? Many feel anxious, overwhelmed, and uncertain about overcoming difficult relationships, loss, and finding their place. My approach I believe living a better life shouldn't be so hard. People can change, and there is hope and answers. As a clinician, I offer cognitive behavioral therapy. I start by getting to know you and what blocks your happiness. I help identify the core problem. Then together, with CBT, we find a resolution. My focus I work with adults experiencing chronic depression, mood disorders, low self-esteem, loss or trauma, or difficulty holding a job. I also work with couples facing infidelity, communication issues, frequent anger, and annoyance, depending on the issue. My communication style I offer a safe, inclusive, integrated, holistic experience so you can get help and move forward. I want clients to feel heard. I guide you through steps that may include setting boundaries, working through loss or life transitions, or changing behaviors that keep you stuck. My journey to mental healthcare My path to becoming a therapist has a twist. I was formerly in the fashion industry in the UK, partially transitioning to the US in the early '80s. After many years, I looked inward for a new direction, leading me to return to school and earn my Master's in Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Florida.
