Psychotherapist
3401 Olandwood Ct, Ste 204, Olney, MD
I’m a dual-licensed psychotherapist and art therapist serving adults in Maryland, DC, and Missouri. I specialize in helping high achievers who appear capable and composed but often feel anxious, exhausted, or disconnected. At Viewpoint Art Therapy, I combine talk therapy, art therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work to create a personalized, grounded, and creative space for healing. You may be thriving professionally and doing all the right things, yet inside feel the weight of perfectionism, people-pleasing, caretaking, or family expectations. If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone. In therapy, we slow down and explore what’s beneath the surface so you can reconnect with yourself and live in a way that feels more authentic and balanced. Art therapy helps you express what words can’t, using imagery, color, and process to connect with deeper emotions. IFS supports understanding and compassion for the parts of you that protect or react. Talk therapy ties these insights together through reflection and real-life application. What to expect: • A warm, inclusive, and nonjudgmental space where your full story is welcome. • Support for anxiety, trauma, burnout, neurodivergence (ADHD, late-identified autism), identity shifts, and complex family dynamics. • In-person sessions in Olney, MD, and telehealth for clients in MD, DC, and MO. • Flexible scheduling for busy professionals, with Tuesday/Wednesday daytime and Friday evening sessions available. If you’re ready to move from “always on” mode toward feeling calmer, clearer, and more connected, I’d be honored to support you. Let’s connect for a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit.

What should a new client know about working with you?

First sessions are 80 minutes, followed by your choice of 50- or 80-minute follow-ups, weekly or biweekly. Therapy blends talk and art-based interventions to help you get out of your head, reconnect with your body, and access your own insights and instincts. Together, we explore patterns, manage stress, and build self-awareness in a practical, creative, and supportive way.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our work together, sessions are tailored to meet you where you are each day. I offer both talk therapy and art therapy, and the balance between the two depends on your needs and comfort level. Some sessions may focus primarily on conversation and reflection, while others may center on art making as a way to explore emotions and experiences more deeply. Many sessions are a blend of both, allowing space for insight, creativity, and connection. For in-office sessions, all art materials are provided. If you opt for virtual sessions, I’ll mail a box of basic art materials to your home or office via USPS for use during our time together.

I also reserve a few reduced-fee spots in my schedule to help make therapy more accessible for those who need financial flexibility.
