Getting to know Austin Nystrom
My approach to therapy is to help each client adapt and grow from life's circumstances. I seek to help my clients thrive within their community and experience a grounded and vital sense of connectedness to self and all others. I utilize a holistic approach that embraces one's intersections and addresses mental, emotional, and somatic (bodily) experiences. I hold a Master's in Social Work from California State University, San Bernardino, which informs my commitment to supporting clients in a comprehensive and compassionate way.
What should a new client know about working with you?
We will start where ever you identify as the place that feels important to begin and explore from there, I know the experience of starting therapy without knowing exactly, don't worry, we will find the areas that feel important to you on the way!
More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
