Getting to know Ayesha Youngblood

I hold a Master's in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor's degree from Towson University. I have specialized training in trauma-informed care, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and shame resilience. I am committed to helping clients navigate challenges such as trauma, anxiety, and life transitions by fostering self-compassion, self-awareness, and emotional resilience. My approach is empathetic and client-centered, supporting each person in finding pathways toward healing and personal growth.

What should a new client know about working with you?

When working with me, you can expect a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where your experiences are validated, and your goals are the focus. I believe in a personalized approach, recognizing that each client has a unique background, strengths, and areas of growth. Together, we’ll work to understand and navigate your challenges while developing practical tools that empower you to handle life’s stresses with greater confidence.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work together starts with a comprehensive initial session where we explore your goals, challenges, and past experiences. From there, I tailor our sessions to your needs, drawing on techniques from DBT, trauma-informed care, and shame resilience practices. My approach combines skill-building with deep exploration, so you can build resilience, improve self-compassion, and gain insights that support meaningful change.
