My journey in the mental health field began at California Lutheran University, where I completed a Master's in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy. I have worked in various mental health settings, including group homes, adult and children/teen clinics, foster children, and kinship families. I have done extensive work with the Transitional-Aged Youth (TAY 16-25) population and trained in Early Detection and Intervention for Psychosis. My past and present experience includes supporting clients struggling with anxiety, depression, addictions, trauma, behavioral issues, family conflicts, and more. I have worked with individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds, including extensive work within the Latino community. My approach I strive to deliver culturally sensitive techniques focused on inner strength and self-exploration. I prioritize forming a strong therapeutic alliance with my clients and providing a nonjudgmental environment that challenges individuals toward better and more positive outcomes. My focus TAY population (16-25 years old), adults, and older adults. My communication style I use a respectful, honest, direct, therapeutic, and reflective approach to build trust and rapport, creating a safe and comfortable space for clients to express their feelings, deepest fears, and concerns. My goals for you To help clients progressively overcome barriers that halt their future goals and reach a more meaningful and successful life.
