Hello, I am Beatriz Gonzalez and I am a Latina LCSW.
I specialize in trauma-based work utilizing short and long-term case management/counseling services. I have worked with individuals and families to provide specific intensive case management and behavioral health services. I am bilingual in Spanish/English and enjoy working with a diverse population.
I have years of experience working with adults and adolescents that are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, life-transitions, relationship, grief, and other stressors. I am aware that beginning the therapy journey can come with a variety of mixed feelings and emotions, but DON'T WORRY! During my work, I always put the client's needs first and will work alongside you at the pace you are comfortable with. I strive to help my clients foster awareness and gain insight into their inner emotions. My hope is that clients will gain a new outlook and feel empowered to make changes.
I believe therapy can be effective when it is built on a relationship of trust, acceptance, and commitment to change. I employ evidenced-based professional counseling methods and invite individuals to integrate their own perspective, values, and goals into each session. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services.
