Hi there, I'm Becky! My name is Becky Rau, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I am also a student, working on my doctorate in Clinical Psychology and enjoy bringing the latest in research to share with my patients into the therapy session. I specialize in addiction, trauma, and grief, although, I am trained and enjoy helping people who are suffering from stress, anxiety, depression, and other concerns. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Family Systems. I have a diverse background as a therapist, healthcare professional, and person. Although my specialties are serious business, I do believe laughter is also a part of healing. Many of my patients express their appreciation for the balance of compassion, acceptance of where they are at, my energy, and the ability to help them find joy and laughter. Patients are often curious about what their therapist does for self-care. My self-care includes dance, breath work, walking pets, family, and plant-based nutrition.
