Warm Greetings! I have over 31 years of experience in the counseling field since 1993. I earned my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Longwood University. I specialize in working with children, tweens, teens, and young adults. Adult clients, ranging up to seniors, can explore their challenges in an accepting space as I journey alongside them. I currently work extensively with diverse families and adults from unique backgrounds as well. I believe in creating a safe space for all individuals to be heard and validated. I value building trust and openness to support people as they unravel the twists and turns that life presents us all. When I listen attentively in sessions, the person, couple, or family becomes the most important focus in the room as we seek to shed light on the areas we can discover together. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
