Getting to know Berth Bartolin

"One step, one step." This is a phrase I often say. I use it as a reminder that we will move forward, heal, and achieve our goals one step, one moment at a time. If we feel or see ourselves slip back, we reset. Then we move forward again-one step, one step. Wellness has always been a focus in my life's work. I earned my Master's in Clinical Counseling Psychology from La Salle University, which has equipped me to work with individuals from the African Diaspora, immigrant communities, various cultures, military personnel, and those diagnosed with chronic illness. I use a holistic approach, integrating modalities such as a Client-Centered approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused therapy, and Mindfulness to help you achieve your goals and build an empowered, stronger, and healthier sense of self. I believe that by collaborating with you as an individual-learning your strengths, challenges, and identifying key coping skills-we can move toward your best strategies for wellness. If you are feeling worried, depressed, scared, anxious, overwhelmed by circumstances in your daily life, or new to therapy, we can work together to find the balance you need.

What should a new client know about working with you?

We will work together and collaborate to increase your overall wellness. You will feel less stressed, stronger emotionally, mentally and physically. We will work to help you find your balance and allow you to have tools to continue to thrive.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Client-Centered and integrate mindfulness and stress management strategies so that you have a toolbox, bag or box of skills you can use at any time.

My visits are always awesome my therapist the best kind of listening ear to have. she always creates the space for me to feel at home . In my visits I’m never lost & we always come up with a plan of direction she is very thorough & to have a therapist who goes above & beyond to make sure I have the best experience with the platform & all aspects of my journey is all I could ask for
Being my first time doing therapy I was a bit apprehensive and nervous. However, Ms. Berth's welcoming and calm demeanor immediately put me in a place of comfort. This comfort allowed me to be open and fully immerse myself into the experience while gaining non-judgemental insight into myself and others. This insight has enabled me to identify and create solutions to unhealthy thinking patterns. Ms. Berth has an understanding of people that surpasses any college education and has demonstrated what I would identify as genuine compassion. She is awesome and I highly recommend her as your first or next therapist.
