Bertha Reeves, LCSW

Psychotherapist
CA
Therapy is a journey we walk together. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCSW. I'm bilingual in English and Spanish, so you can choose the language that feels most comfortable for you. I work with individuals and families to explore emotions, build resilience, and find balance in a safe and supportive space. Together, we'll develop practical skills and strategies to help you navigate life's challenges with confidence and clarity. In our first session together, here's what you can expect I specialize in supporting individuals who are coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, ADHD, and major life transitions. Using a DBT-informed approach, I help clients strengthen emotional resilience, build practical coping skills, and create balance between acceptance and change. My goal is to offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can gain clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of stability. The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions I became a therapist because I believe in the strength people have to grow and heal when given understanding and support. My work has been shaped by years of experience in mental health, hospice, foster care, and child welfare, where I’ve witnessed how small, consistent steps can create meaningful change. I’m here to help you build awareness, find balance, and move forward with greater confidence and self-compassion. The clients I'm best positioned to serve I specialize in supporting individuals who are coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, ADHD, and major life transitions. Using a DBT informed approach, I help clients strengthen emotional resilience, build practical coping skills, and create balance between acceptance and change. My goal is to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can develop the tools to live a more grounded and fulfilling life.

In-network insurances

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
