Getting to know Beth Rivet

I want to connect with you to help address the issues preventing you from moving forward in your life. I specialize in addiction, domestic violence, depression, and trauma, and I am dedicated to helping my clients identify negative thoughts and maladaptive behavior patterns while understanding their impact. Recognizing what you can and cannot change is part of this process, as is understanding how your thoughts influence your feelings about yourself and those around you. I want you to be the best version of yourself, and I would love to help you find your way there. Promoting self-esteem and self-confidence through teaching positive coping skills, mindfulness, psycho-education, and self-regulation is an essential part of my practice. I hope you will be brave and take that difficult first step toward making a positive change in your life. I would be honored to be your partner in this endeavor. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Salem State University and a Bachelor’s degree from Framingham State University, which have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I want to learn what it is you would like to accomplish and together we can develop a plan to move forward. We will build a relationship based on trust, care, and mutual respect. I want you to feel heard, validated, understood, and occasionally challenged. We will re-evaluate your goals as time goes on. My job is to help you reach your personal goals and improve your confidence, self-esteem, and make positive lifestyle changes.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
