What should a new client know about working with you?

You can expect a relaxed, supportive, and nonjudgmental experience. In our first sessions, I focus on getting to know you, understanding what is bringing you to therapy, and helping you feel comfortable. My style is compassionate, collaborative, and practical. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can be honest and feel genuinely heard, and start making sense out of these patterns of stress and experiences. Together we can work towards your goals that feel meaningful and realistic for you..

What is your typical process for working with clients?

First sessions, we focus on getting to know you, understanding what is bringing you to therapy, and helping you feel comfortable. My approach is relaxed and collaborative. Together we will explore patterns, stressors, relationships, past experiences, and goals, while also building coping tools that feel realistic and useful in daily life. I tailor therapy to each person's needs and want you to feel heard, understood and able to make meaningful progress at a pace that feels right for you.

If you plan to use insurance, your cost will depend on your individual plan and benefits, including deductibles, co-pays, and coinsurance. I recommend checking with your insurance company to better understand your mental health benefits and any out of pocket costs. For self-pay clients, payment is due at the time of service.
