Getting to know Bethany Williamson

I view my role as a therapist as a supportive guide through life's journey. I see each client as the expert while helping them develop skills and tools such as resilience and courage to support their healing. I promote successful outcomes by empowering my clients and utilizing various therapies to enhance the therapeutic experience, including art, play, and EMDR. I draw from cognitive behavioral and person-centered approaches and work to create a tailored and holistic approach to each client's needs. I have experience working with clients ages 5 and older and have training in Early Pathways (birth to 5 interventions). I earned my Master's in Professional Counseling from the University of Wisconsin. Outside of work, I love to learn new things, laugh as much as I can, and spend time with my family outdoors.
