Getting to know Bianca Milliern

I am a seasoned and dynamic clinician, with 14 years of experience in private practice. I welcome you with the core values of warmth, respect and positive regard. This will form the foundation of our relationship, allowing us to meet and heal parts of yourself that are suffering, perhaps in deep aloneness. I bring with me unique life experience and a natural multi-cultural flair. I have a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology. I have gained experience working in both in-patient and out-patient settings, as well as collaborating with MD's. I consider myself experienced in working with all ages 16 and up. I specialize in helping clients navigate codependency, addictions, boundary-setting, relationship challenges and self-concept concerns with a compassionate and evidence-based approach

What should a new client know about working with you?

I draw on a variety of modalities and techniques, which in my experience, lead to true and deep healing. I am a creative and flexible therapist - allowing me to meet you in your current reality. At the center of my work is a strong therapist-client alliance. I highly value the process of clients attaining self leadership and a lasting practice of inner attunement. At the same time, I also address here-and-now concerns and do not shy away from finding short term solutions as needed.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Sessions are a collaborative meeting, in a warm and safe holding space. Clients often tell me they feel relief, hopefulness and increased energy after a few sessions. Together, we will set in-between session goals that keep your momentum going. We will address lifestyle patterns and choices that might be keeping you stuck and disconnected. We will also consider all of the relationships in your life, and how those might be affecting you
