Getting to know Bita Sanchez

Hi there, I'm Bita. Do you feel pulled in a million directions, unable to fit it all in? Are you struggling to keep up with your relationships, work, and health? Is it hard to be kind to yourself? Are you struggling with anxiety and depression? Do you have difficulty setting healthy boundaries, being more assertive, and better communicating and expressing your thoughts and feelings with family members and others? Are you struggling with self-esteem, low motivation, self-love, and compassion? Do you feel burnout and overwhelm? I would like to share a little bit about my experience and background. I have been practicing as a therapist for the past 5 years. I work with a variety of people from different ages, backgrounds, ethnicities, cultures, religions, and spiritualities. I also work with people who are experiencing depression, anxiety, social anxiety, burnout, bipolar disorder, relationship issues, PTSD, and past trauma. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology from National University and am a certified cognitive behavioral therapist (CBT). However, I don’t just use that technique—I also utilize narrative, solution-focused, strength-based, compassion-focused, humanistic, and existential approaches. I help high performers manage anxiety, depression, and avoid burnout. I will work with you to better manage and reduce your symptoms of anxiety, depression, and low motivation, while helping you increase your self-esteem, self-compassion, and self-love. Together, we can identify what’s not working and get you back to balance. We will use a whole-self approach, addressing the needs of your mind, body, and spirit. I also integrate mindfulness, meditation, and art to help you develop a stronger relationship with yourself. Whether you’re dealing with overwhelm, relationship issues, or cycles of anxiety and depression, I’m here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary, but you’re making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I will create a therapeutic environment for you that is compassionate, empathetic, none judgmental and safe. My role as a therapist is to offer you insights into your experiences, advice on how to handle issues and make progress towards your treatment goals. I will also discuss with you about your expectations from seeking therapy, what you would like to work on during our sessions and your goals. We can work together to heal from past trauma, working out conflicts and improve your relationships by having a safe, neutral space to talk about your life and struggles.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
