Psychotherapist

Hi there, I'm Brad! I was there, too. There was a time when I was extremely lost in life. But therapy changed the direction of my life forever. Because I went through it, I will get you through it, too. Whether you’re coming to me for personal growth, relationship struggles, or healing from trauma through EMDR, we can work together to get you past the problem. My focus My clients come to me facing issues related to complex trauma, PTSD, relationship/marital problems, feeling stuck or frozen, and career/life transitions, or overall dissatisfaction. I’ve had the privilege of working with many different types of clients and have developed a place for helping men navigate the unique challenges they face in life. My approach I believe my role is more mentorship than anything else. And this is how I approach therapy. A mentor is someone who has the life experience, expertise, and creativity to get you where you want to go. Most of us have never had that type of relationship before. If you welcome this relationship, you'll get what you need. My communication style Imagine coming into therapy feeling comfortable enough to open up and talk about what’s really going on, instead of feeling like you can't open up. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a real conversation, and that's how I communicate with my clients. I don’t believe in being a blank slate and that having a point of view is valuable. My journey to mental healthcare My path to becoming a therapist was based some simple lessons that I learned from my mentors. First, the only way around an issue is to go through it. Second, self-counsel is a guaranteed way of staying stuck and confused. And finally, change happens when the pain of not having the life you want is greater than the pain that keeps you frozen. My goals for you Often times people like yourself need help coming to terms with the decision they already made, rather than being completely lost.
