Bradley Levy, LICSW

Psychotherapist
MA
Hi, my name is Bradley Levy, LICSW, and I have 20 years of experience in the field. Are there changes that you want or need to act upon? If things feel too difficult to change and you need guidance, support, direction, and empathic listening, you might be a great candidate for individual therapy with me. What separates me from other clinicians is my versatility. Throughout my career, I have worked at every level of care and with every population. From individual therapy and group therapy to intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs, and even serving as the clinical director at a locked psychiatric hospital, I have seen pretty much everything. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Simmons University. My main objective in all cases is to build a trusting rapport and relationship in which no judgment is made, creating an atmosphere where one can feel safe talking about difficult issues, their current level, or desire to change through motivational interviewing and CBT. Over the years, I have developed areas of extreme expertise such as addiction (either oneself or a loved one), co-occurring disorders or dual diagnosis, and dealing with any diagnosis from adjustment disorders to more complex or serious mental illnesses, including major depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and related conditions. In addition, I can offer case management services, assist with paperwork, or help find the right treatment if a higher level of care is needed.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients can expect to come away feeling more resilient, empowered, supported, and as if they could tackle any of the life issues that have been problematic towards them or others. They will also take away education, strength, and a safe place to talk about whatever they want without fear of judgment. In our sessions, there will be times of great sadness, elated happiness, tears and a lot of laughter. However, one should be prepared to want to change which requires hard work and doing things that may make one uncomfortable so they can walk through their fears.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
