Psychotherapist
MD
I’m so glad you’re here. As a licensed clinical mental health counselor and addictions specialist with years of experience walking alongside individuals and families, my practice is built on the belief that everyone has within them the ability to change the trajectory of their life. My role is to help you uncover that hope, strengthen your voice, and build practical tools so you can move toward the life you truly want. My approach is rooted in being person-centered and deeply humanistic: therapy is about you, your needs, and your goals, not about me. I integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, blending them with existential exploration and motivational interviewing. For some clients, this means looking closely at values and choices; for others, it means focusing on actionable steps and coping strategies. I also believe in incorporating creativity when helpful, whether through writing, reflection, or expressive techniques, to foster insight and healing. My ideal clients are those navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, addiction, or relationship challenges who are ready to take active steps toward change. I create a supportive environment where we explore what you truly value, identify what’s standing in the way, and design strategies that feel authentic and doable for you. My practice is for people who are ready to stop feeling stuck and start moving toward change, even if they don’t yet know how. I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and families who are struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, addictive behaviors, or the weight of unresolved trauma. Many of my clients are caregivers, professionals, or students who give so much to others yet find it hard to care for themselves. Others are in seasons of transition: navigating relationships, career shifts,
