Psychotherapist

Streamlined mental health systems are oversaturated and limited in their ability to provide specialized care tailored to individual needs. The goal of my private practice, Unbound Wellness, is to offer relevant treatment beyond symptom management to promote lasting change. Using evidence-based research modalities that ground both provider and client in positive psychology, mind/body connection, and solution-focused care, I teach my clients strategies to foster resilience and autonomy long after the therapeutic relationship has ended. My name is Breanna, and I am a licensed clinical social worker with a Master's in Social Work from Florida Gulf Coast University. I have a passion for holistic healing and fostering innate resilience. I am dedicated to teaching my clients how to cope with life's transitions, often beginning with a better understanding of self. My clinical approach is solution-focused and considers the systems surrounding the person that influence their sense of well-being. I have a range of clinical experience with various age groups, backgrounds, and care settings, providing both individual and group counseling. My personal path to healing led me to obtain my yoga teacher training (200hr RYT), which has deepened my knowledge in treating trauma through connection to mind and body. I have a heart for grief and bereavement work, anxiety regulation, self-esteem, and empowerment.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Our first few sessions are based in rapport building and goal setting. This looks like an informal ""get to know you"" interview- creating time and space for sharing, gathering an understanding of presenting issues, question asking, and goal development. During each session we will check progress of outlined goals (both short & long term) and review any assigned do-outs. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment that allows for exploration of barriers to achieving goals and flexibility in brainstorming. I am mindful of the ever-changing needs of my clients and have flexibility in every session to meet a client ""where they are"" on that day. This may look like processing a new event from the week and changing course as appropriate.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
