My journey to mental healthcare I hold a Master?s in Counseling Psychology from California State University, East Bay, and a Bachelor?s degree from Sonoma State University. My professional experience includes non-profit, government, and private employers. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. This includes treatment for substance use disorders using a harm-reduction model, mental health disorders, dual diagnosis, severe mental illness, CASOMB, AB109, and court-dependent youth. My goals for you I approach goal setting by identifying what each client truly desires as attainable goals. I work with understanding, empathy, compassion, and a strong belief that each of us can make monumental changes in our lives that benefit both ourselves and society. My first session with you During our initial session, you can expect me to get to know you from a non-judgmental stance, and together we will gain clarity on the goals most important for you to start with.
