Psychotherapist
OH
Hello, I'm Brian. With over 22 years of experience as a clinical counselor, I've had the privilege of working in a variety of professional settings, including outpatient community mental health, crisis services, corporate and workplace environments, and even running my own counseling practice. My journey has also led me to educate law enforcement on how to better assist individuals in a mental health crisis, a role I find incredibly fulfilling. I hold a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Ohio University, and I firmly believe in the positive impact that incorporating exercise into the counseling process can have on mental health. My therapeutic approach is centered around meeting you where you are in life and providing the support you need to effectively address your personal challenges. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, or navigating family relationships and medical issues, I'm here to help. I also specialize in supporting military personnel, veterans and first responders, as well as individuals experiencing psychosis or schizophrenia. In our sessions, you can expect a compassionate and understanding environment where your unique experiences and concerns are valued. I strive to create a space where you feel heard and supported, and where we can work together to find the best path forward for your mental health and well-being. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy exercise, woodworking and fixing anything that needs to be fixed. If you're ready to take the next step towards improving your mental health, I invite you to reach out. Let's work together to navigate your challenges and find a path to a healthier, more fulfilling life.
