Psychotherapist

My work mixes structure with warmth and insight. I approach sessions completely open, being a fellow traveler of life. You'll have the opportunity to slow down, notice what matters, and begin to find your way again. I blend evidence-based care like CPT and CBT with genuine collaboration. Alongside this, I incorporate deeper experiential therapies, including somatic (mind-body) grounding and parts-work. There’s structure to keep us on track, but with plenty of room for curiosity, so it doesn't feel stiff. I work with adults (18+ years old) navigating depression, trauma, anxiety, and transitions. During sessions, I speak simply and listen deeply. I don't rush moments between words and allow you to move at your own pace. I trust the therapeutic process of the relationship, and at the same time, will offer guidance so that sessions will feel like they have a sense of linearity and progression. Frankly, therapy is a calling for me, and I view it dutifully. I'm also drawn to therapy out of sheer wonder. Dialogue between two people can change everything. Somewhere between exchanged words, a spark appears, and both walk away seeing the world with a little more clarity. That kind of transformative phenomenon keeps me inspired every day. What I typically find is small steps compound into the formation of steps of a more profound path to walk down. Progress doesn't have to be loud (although it certainly can be) and is many times quiet but steady. We get to know your story together, what gives meaning to your life, and your values. There will be no pressure to know these things off the bat. It's less about answers and more about beginning and drawing a roadmap.
