Getting to know Bridget Delaney

Hi there, my name is Bridget Delaney. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California, with a Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Global. I work with adolescents and adults, specializing in anxiety, depression, and trauma. I am currently in training to offer EMDR virtually via telehealth. My therapeutic approach varies based on the needs of each individual. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and have an eclectic, humanistic style. I enjoy collaborating with clients to develop a personalized plan that best supports their goals. I have found that my style is a good fit for teens and young adults facing life transitions and social pressures. These challenges often present as anxiety, depression, stress, and eating disorders. I help clients navigate these periods and build skills to improve their self-esteem and develop a more positive outlook on life. Life's transitions and pressures can lead to emotional and physical difficulties, and I work with clients to create a path toward healthy, satisfying lives. I strive to build a safe, comfortable, and nonjudgmental space where we can explore whatever arises. My approach is gentle, calm, and accommodating, allowing you to lead at a pace that feels right for you. My journey to therapy began with a long-standing interest in working with people. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in public service for several years as an Emergency Medical Technician and later collaborated closely with law enforcement.
