Psychotherapist
CA
Greetings! It is natural for all of us to feel stressed, overwhelmed, angry, and alone at times, as life is not always easy. It is my passion to support clients in using varying clinical tools in order to gain valuable insights, healing, and empowerment. My therapeutic style is holistic, restorative, uplifting, and strength-based. My approach I utilize varying therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), Eye Movement, Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), etc., in order to collaboratively reach your clinical goals and put you on a path towards healing, restoration, centeredness, and improved mood regulation. My focus Are you a transitional age youth (18-21), adult professional, going through a major life transition, managing grief and loss, the victim of domestic or intimate partner violence, and/or head of a single-parent household? I am here to help! I utilize what I deem as WISE therapy, which is focused on Well-being, Insightfulness, Self-care, and Empathy. My communication style I tend to use friendly and warm yet clear and concise language. I can easily adjust tone and inflection in order to embrace the client's individual processing styles while focusing on their individual needs. My journey to mental healthcare I knew, even as a young child, that I wanted to help people. I truly believe in the dignity of all human beings and that access to mental health and other social supports is a basic human right. I was inspired to obtain my licensure so that I could provide a sacred space that focused on safety, well-being, and restoration of the human spirit.
