Getting to know Bridgette Reed

Hi, I am a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in Georgia with 6 years of experience working as a therapist. I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University. I am married to a Veteran's spouse for 5 years, and together we share a blended family of 4 children. I have a passion for helping others and the willingness and reliability to assist with each client's concerns. I have worked with clients facing a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, parenting problems, career difficulties, blended families, and military adjustments. I have also helped many people who have experienced trauma or emotional abuse. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, person-centered therapy, and solution-focused therapy. I will tailor our sessions and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes a lot of courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps toward change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you!

What should a new client know about working with you?

In our first session, gaining an understanding of what is to come within the therapeutic setting will be reviewed. By understanding general expectations can help build upon time to set goals and review treatment options.Throughout sessions, a collaborative approach is always used to assess changes which are reviewed periodically. After sessions, my goal is to provide knowledge to my clients while encouraging them to use the tools they have conquered.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
