Hi there, I'm Bridgit! I realize the decision to look for a therapist and begin therapy isn't something you've taken lightly. Therapy is a journey that I realize isn't often easy but can lead to profound positive change so congratulations on taking your first step towards a healthier lifestyle! I provide older teens and adults neuro-affirming and trauma-informed care while they attempt to navigate life stressors and improve their overall well-being. I regularly support clients who are working to address anxiety, neurodivergence, relationship issues, trauma, life transitions, family dynamics, self-confidence, communication skills and more. My approach I provide a casual, comfortable, and personalized approach to therapy which helps my clients to feel understood and supported. I utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions to most effectively aid you in meeting your goals. My approach to therapy is collaborative. Together, we will find ways to empower you to make the change you want while developing greater self-awareness and improving your overall well-being. My focus I provide neuro-affirming and trauma-informed therapy to older teens and adults. As an autistic person with ADHD, I am passionate about working with and supporting other neurodivergent individuals. Although neurodivergence, anxiety, and trauma are my primary areas of focus, I am proficient in a number of other areas, including mood management, communication, confidence building, self-esteem, grief, relationships, and more. My communication style I am open, collaborative, and transparent, yet supportive and non-judgmental. I practice both active and reflective listening. I will support you as needed, whether that is by providing you a safe place to externalize and process your concerns or whether you wish to explore issues while seeking solutions and setting healthy goals.
