I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree from Appalachian State University, focused on individuals and family systems. Having lived in North Carolina all my life, I deeply resonate with the people of this beautiful state and am committed to giving back to those in need of mental health support. Over the past three years, I have worked in hospice care, providing grief counseling to individuals who have experienced death or non-death losses. Grief is a universal experience that touches us all in various ways-whether it's grief over a chance not taken, a divorce, the loss of a relationship or pet, the death of a loved one, moving, or changing schools. In grief therapy, we focus on the losses you have experienced throughout life, allowing each version of yourself to release emotions, properly grieve, and receive support that may not have been available before. I often work with individuals coping with childhood or generational grief and loss. Together, we will use grief therapy, psychoeducation, supportive counseling, and CBT techniques, while maintaining or creating effective coping skills and honoring rituals or memorials as needed or wanted. I will move with you from moment to moment, getting to know and growing alongside your losses.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
