I utilize a variety of therapies tailored to my clients' needs to help balance the mind and body. Let’s find a solution that works for you and helps you reach your goals. Please note that as a PhD, I cannot prescribe medication. My approach I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC0011731, Georgia) and National Certified Counselor. I use an integrative counseling approach encompassing Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Heart Rate Variability Biofeedback, Sandtray, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy, an effective eye movement therapy developed from EMDR. My focus I currently work with teens and adults struggling with, but not limited to: behavioral/mood problems, relationship issues, addiction, anxiety, trauma, anger management, spirituality, self-esteem, chronic illness, life transitions, and women's issues, including fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum issues. My communication style My communication style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and respected. In sessions, I’m compassionate and attuned, but I also provide honest feedback and clear guidance when needed. I work to strike a balance between validation and accountability, helping clients feel empowered while supporting meaningful change. Whether we’re navigating deep emotional work or building new skills, I tailor my tone and approach to meet each client’s needs—offering both steadiness and flexibility throughout the therapeutic process. My journey to mental healthcare My journey to becoming a provider was deeply personal and purpose-driven. I’ve always been drawn to understanding people—how we think, feel, and heal. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Florida, my Master’s from Brenau University, and my PhD from Northcentral University.
