Psychotherapist
CA
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in California with 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I hold a master's degree in Psychology from California Lutheran University and a bachelor's degree in Psychology from California State University Channel Islands. My involvement in mental health has provided me with many opportunities to build a wealth of knowledge and experience working with diverse populations. While completing my bachelor's degree, I spent two years working as a respite care provider for families with children with Autism. After that, I began working with the substance abuse and addiction population, serving as a technician, primary therapist, clinical supervisor, and clinical director in several treatment centers. I have worked with individuals, families, and couples, ranging from adolescents to adults.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to the therapeutic relationship involves a delicate balance of direct feedback and tools complemented by compassion, empathy and respect for your boundaries. By the way...therapy doesn’t always need to be about treating problems or struggling; therapy can also be about elevating and growing as an individual! I look forward to helping you on this amazing journey!

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
