Getting to know Brittany Livingston

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and Licensed Clinical Supervisor in the states of Arkansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Nevada. I hold a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Louisiana Monroe. I have been in practice for the past 19 years in both inpatient and outpatient settings, treating a wide variety of clients with various mental health issues. I enjoy working with clients in a holistic way to help them regain hope, identify strengths, and develop a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle. Some of the areas I focus on include stress and anxiety, relationship issues, depression, self-esteem and lack of motivation, substance abuse, domestic violence, hoarding behaviors, poor coping skills, and promoting a healthier relationship with food, exercise, and body image. While I use a holistic approach to treatment and consider the context and other factors affecting the individual’s life, I apply a variety of treatment modalities in my sessions. These include cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness skills, solution-focused therapy, person-centered therapy, and Gestalt therapy. Beginning therapy can be a big step, and I am here to help you get started! I look forward to working with you and helping you build the tools you need to create a healthier and more productive life!
