Getting to know Brittany Vaughn

A little bit about me personally: I am originally from Southern Illinois. I attended Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, where I completed my Bachelor's of Social Work in December 2012. After taking a semester off, I continued at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, to obtain my Master's in Social Work, which I completed in May 2014. Since finishing my education, I have worked as a therapist with adolescents experiencing extreme trauma in a residential setting. I then provided therapy in public schools in Williamson County, working with students who have a variety of disorders, including behavioral disturbances. For the past three years, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in an outpatient setting. I have found that therapy is my passion, and I look forward to helping you discover how therapy can improve your quality of life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Together we will identify what is impacting your daily functioning and practice specific coping skills to improve your quality of life. If you have been thinking about starting therapy, stop putting it off. Even if it's just a couple of sessions, you deserve to treat yourself with some insight and growth. I look forward to helping you get there.

In-network insurances

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
