Brittney Luger, APCC

Psychotherapist
CA
My path to becoming a therapist (Associate Professional Clinical Counselor) was not a linear one, having spent several years in the military, I was on track to study forensic psychology as an undergraduate. A combination of my own personal experiences in addition to my educational endeavors inspired me to change paths as I felt called to help others through the therapeutic process of therapy. Healing can come in many forms, therapy is one way in which people can move towards a life that feels balanced, meaningful, and aligned with your true self. I do not see people as simply ‘diagnoses’, our stories are unique and layered. When working with me, you will experience an environment of attentive open-mindedness, caring, and interest in meeting you where you are on your journey of healing and growth. I do not shy away from sensitive topics, firmly believing that therapy is a process in which our work together will help you to learn more about yourself and the important relationships in your life. I specialize in supporting adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and unresolved trauma. I recognize the vulnerability of beginning this process and I am dedicated to providing a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood. I focus on helping you to better understand your thoughts, feelings, and patterns while providing practical tools for lasting change and growth.
