Psychotherapist
CA
As a licensed marriage and family therapist, my goal is to help you achieve holistic well-being and authentic self-expression. I seek to facilitate empowerment, clarity, and inner peace by strengthening the mind/body connection and enhancing a values-driven life. My approach I act as a supportive, warm, exploratory guide along the journey to help you come home to yourself. I provide an integrative approach that often utilizes mindfulness, somatic therapy, ACT, and family systems. I avoid giving advice and will instead draw from your inner wisdom to help you identify choices aligned with your values. My focus I work with adults of all ages, and have experience working with survivors of narcissistic abuse, adult children of addicts, and self-harm, as well as more general topics such as stress, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My communication style My tone is warm and empathic. I respect wherever you are at emotionally and psychologically, and create a safe and nonjudgmental space for you to explore, process, and work toward your goals with patience and support. I like to ask questions and explore your inner body awareness, ideally to discover new insights and enhance self-growth. My journey to mental healthcare I've never been much of a "people person," having spent much of my time reading a good book or dancing in a studio. But when it comes to the therapy space, I care deeply from the core of my being. Everyone deserves a space to feel heard and understood, and that has been a driving force in my journey to becoming a therapist. My goals for you You are the expert of your life. I can facilitate the mind/body connection and provide therapeutic tools and skills to help you get to where you need to go, but you will ultimately be the one to use the tools, embrace the mind/body connection, and implement changes in your life as we work through your therapeutic journey as a team.
