I got my Bachelors in Psychology and have been practicing the skill of Counseling, in Oregon since 2018. I have worked in Community Mental Health in very rural, frontier communities for a total of 3 years, taking a break from a professional job to stay home with my daughter for a few years. While working in community mental health for a total of 3 years I've worked with many different kinds of people. I find myself working with people from a compassionate, empathetic, nurturing, honest, empowering perspective. I adopt a trauma informed, strengths based, person centered approach. I believe in the value of the therapeutic relationship and will do my best to approach individuals from a trauma informed perspective, foster a brave space, valid and believe your experience.
