What should a new client know about working with you?

I work primarily with adults who want to start their healing journey from trauma. Life can feel heavy when you're carrying unresolved pain or trying to manage it all on your own. If you're struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, or just feeling stuck, know that there's help. You don’t have to go through it alone. In our work together, I prioritize creating a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where you feel truly seen and heard. My communication style is empathetic, direct, and supportive. I strive to meet you where you are while gently challenging unhelpful patterns that may be getting in your way. I believe healing happens through connection, so I focus on building a safe and trusting relationship, using curiosity and compassion to guide the process. Whether we're exploring difficult emotions, setting goals, or celebrating progress, I aim to keep our sessions grounded, respectful, and meaningful. I invite open feedback and will always check in to ensure our work feels relevant and empowering to you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Like many, I’ve seen firsthand how unresolved pain can impact our sense of self, relationships, and direction in life. What drew me to this work was witnessing how transformative it can be to have someone truly listen, hold space, and walk alongside you through difficult seasons. I was especially drawn to supporting those navigating trauma, as I believe in the resilience people carry, even when it doesn’t feel accessible. When working with clients, I take a trauma-informed approach to setting and reaching treatment goals. This means we move at a pace that feels safe for you, honoring your lived experiences, boundaries, and readiness for change. Together, we’ll co-create goals that feel empowering, not overwhelming, often beginning with building safety, emotional regulation, and self-understanding. I help break goals into manageable steps and use grounding techniques, mindfulness, and strengths-based strategies to support progress. Throughout treatment, I check in regularly, allowing space to reflect, shift focus when needed, and celebrate growth. My goal is to create a collaborative, compassionate space where healing is possible and your voice leads the way.
