“Today was my first session with Brooke, after being engaged as of 12/13/25 and feeling like my fiancé' and I had extended our stay at the "we're enjoying being engaged - no wedding plans yet!" phase to avoid the stress and pressure of starting the planning process. After just one session, I left feeling like I have some clarity on why I feel so overwhelmed - and that it's actually pretty normal to feel this way. Identifying my fears of hurting others during the planning process and losing sight of what the whole point of a wedding is was a good first step. Discussing ways to navigate "wedding limbo" and talking about the "baby steps" on where to start - so I don't feel like I am so lost or overwhelmed. I left our session with a sense of relief and hope and am really looking forward to our session next week. Brooke was incredible - and I truly believe that she will be a part of my journey through not only my wedding, but everything in between and after. Thanks so much, Brooke.”

“Brooke has an unusually strong ability to see patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and to reflect them back in a nonjudgmental way to help clients better understand themselves and how they respond to the world around them. If you're looking for an individual or couples therapist who you can trust to challenge you and and help you reframe how you deal with emotional and interpersonal difficulties, she's one of the best there is. I highly recommend working with her. ”

Getting to know Brooke Phelps

I work with individuals and couples navigating challenges in work, love, and life. When one area feels off, it can throw everything else out of balance. Whether it’s improving your confidence, relationships, career, health, or working through difficult past experiences, together, we’ll figure out what you need and find the tools to help you build the life and relationships you want.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My goal is to create a space where you feel safe and empowered to embrace life’s challenges as opportunities for growth while building the confidence to celebrate every win—big and small—along the way. I take the time to understand your unique needs and help you work toward both immediate and long-term goals in the way that works for you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

By creating a collaborative, supportive, safe space, we will work together to prioritize goals, manage day to day stressors, and work towards lasting change. We maintain a trusted referral network of specialists in other disciplines including psychiatry, nutrition, primary care, and women's health. Going to therapy is a big step, and finding the right fit is essential. I'd love to connect and hear more about how I can support you in this meaningful work.
