Bryanna Pulling, LPC, MA

Psychotherapist
1745 Shea Ctr Dr, 4th Fl, Highlands Ranch, CO
Do you ever feel like you're not enough? As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with expertise in both private practice and school-based therapy, I help children, adolescents, parents, and adults understand where that feeling comes from and move toward greater clarity. My focus areas include anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and life transitions, with experience using trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help children process and heal from trauma. I believe therapy works best as a partnership. With adult patients, that means working together to set goals that are meaningful and aligned with your needs. With children and adolescents, it often means adding parent support sessions or family therapy to individual work, so connection and regulation at home can support the whole family system.

What should a new client know about working with you?

DISCLAIMER: We are not accepting Medicare or Medicaid plans at this time. My path to becoming a therapist began with my first love of playing, and later coaching, competitive volleyball. In volleyball, the most important thing is a strong foundation of skills, because in a high-pressure, fast-paced game, that foundation is what shows up. This is true for mental health as well: in moments of pressure and uncertainty, we as humans go back to our familiar patterns of protection, coping, and ways of interacting with each other. I'm passionate about helping you build a foundation of coping skills and resilience to fall back on as you manage life's many challenges.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

As we grow, the way we talk about ourselves, and the messages we receive from others, can lead to self-doubt, anxiety, or a belief that we're unworthy of love or care. I believe in creating an environment that's warm, nonjudgmental, and strengths-based, where we can unpack that story together and shift it toward one of resilience, self-compassion, and empowerment. Therapy with me draws from evidence-based practices like CBT and person-centered therapy, while leaving room for sessions to be engaging and creative. With children and adolescents, I use age-appropriate talk therapy, art, and play to help them communicate and cope with big emotions. With adults, you can expect a supportive space to explore patterns in your life, gain insight into yourself, and build tools to navigate life's challenges. No matter your age, you can expect a warm, collaborative environment.
