Hi there, I'm C. Lynne! Hello, my name is Lynne Westbrook. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor with over 20 years of experience. I earned my Master’s in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University and my Bachelor’s degree from Emory University. I have authored a book and journal articles in the field of mental health and enjoy bringing new approaches and perspectives to our work together. I look forward to working with you to find your path and passion! My approach I work with the approach that best fits the client and the situation. You might classify me as "holistic or eclectic" in my style. I often use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), which focuses on the "self-talk" we have in our minds that drives behavior. I also value Motivational Interviewing because it addresses what motivates you specifically as a client, which can differ greatly from others. As a lifelong learner, I enjoy integrating new research, medical perspectives, and directions into our work to offer fresh insights. Additionally, as a strong Christian, I provide a faith-based approach for those who seek that foundation and support. My focus With extensive experience in traditional office settings (such as Frazier), outpatient clinics, virtual/online interventions, and community-based therapy, I have worked with clients of all ages and conditions. I am comfortable treating all types of clients and concerns. I have a passion for working with teens, college students, young adults, parents, and those navigating life transitions such as school challenges, bullying, worry/OCD/anxiety, career focus, and parenting during transitions or divorce. Coaching (life and career) and couples therapy are also areas I truly enjoy. My communication style I am soft-spoken, direct, and investigative, taking my time to listen carefully to what you have to say.
