“Caitlin has been with me for a while, and she is really client-oriented. She makes sure to focus on whatever I want to focus on that day. She is quick on her feet when it comes to offering a different perspective or sharing a new skill I can add to my toolkit. She doesn’t hold back when she can see that my thinking is irrational or I’m taking too much responsibility for things. I admire her willingness to share about herself when it makes sense. She also never takes sessions too seriously, and we share a laugh over something every time.”

Getting to know Caitlin Pierce

When the burdens of our circumstances, relationships, or daily lives begin to weigh on our shoulders, finding help in a safe, therapeutic, non-judgmental space can start to ease those heavy loads. My name is Caitlin Pierce, and I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 14 years of experience. I earned my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from La Salle University. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with families and individuals in both office and in-home settings. I have specialized training and practice in trauma-focused counseling, relationships (family, marriage, parenting), and stress/anxiety management. Additionally, I am a certified personal trainer and nutrition specialist, which allows me to support wellness and health-related concerns such as self-esteem, body image, and lifestyle changes like stress reduction or shifting priorities. My favorite part of being a counselor is witnessing the people I work with begin to see a new “story” emerge or experience a shift in thinking around their challenges. I enjoy helping clients unlock the parts of their minds that remain stuck in patterns of thinking or feeling that keep them from feeling their best. I believe that all of us are capable of change, whether we're 18 or 85, and with healthy support and guidance, there is hope to feel better. I strive to bring a conversational, personal, and humanistic counseling style to my work. I look forward to working together!

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients can expect to feel we've connected on a human-to-human level through their work with me. I will often use humor and real-life examples throughout our work together in hopes of creating a relaxed, comfortable, and open therapy space. I like to challenge my clients to explore the hidden layers/parts of themselves that are keeping them from experiencing relief, contentment, and healthy symptom management. We all have a "story" and a journey to how we got here, and I respect and value each person's story. I want my clients to feel there's no problem too weird, big, small, odd, seemingly meaningless, or complicated for the therapy space.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
