Cali Lynch, LMFT

Cali Lynch, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
My biggest strengths are my authenticity, honesty, and ability to advocate. Advocacy may be less emphasized in traditional therapy, but the underlying values-fidelity and dedication to good works and helping-are important strengths I bring to my practice. I thrive when working with people who are unsure about the process. I am here to support you, let you set the pace, and act as the guide you want and need. I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to provide compassionate and effective care.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Our first session is, primarily, to gather information to make sure we are a good fit. It’s so important you feel comfortable with the person you are working with. I love for people to show up knowing they’re doing so in a space that is safe, supportive, and invites any and all needed conversation to take place. On my end, for a first session, I will listen with a close ear to make sure what you’re presenting to me is something in my scope - it is of the utmost importance to me as a practitioner that people get the best care they can. So first session is us getting to know each other, and making sure that it is a good fit. I can’t promise no terrible ice breaking jokes, but I can promise I will try not to do it…

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
