My name is Careen Neba, and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I am in the field to assist those in need with warmth and compassion to reach their full potential. I have experience in both clinical and managerial roles focusing on mental health disorders, including depression, bipolar, anxiety, disruptive mood dysregulation, ADHD, trauma-informed care, stress management, and loss and grief, as well as helping with life skills development. I meet the client where he or she is at. My approach is strength-based and I listen keenly with empathy. We partner to identify and work on the goals set by each client. I work with clients by bringing warmth and positive regard to everyone to foster a therapeutic working relationship. I provide validation of their thoughts and feelings, recognizing the inner strengths they have. I work together with clients, encouraging them to look for solutions to their problems and appropriate ways to cope with life.
