Hi there, I'm Carla! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor. I earned my Master's in Counseling from the University of Detroit Mercy. I have an eclectic approach to therapy because I don't believe one size fits all. My approach In therapy sessions, I use a client-centered theoretical approach to ensure clients feel truly heard. I also incorporate CBT and DBT, among other methods, tailored to each individual's needs. My journey to mental healthcare My journey to becoming a therapist began as a teacher. I noticed my students often preferred talking with me over learning math-LOL! Returning to school for counseling allowed me to channel my compassion into guiding others through their journeys. I believe we all can find answers and solutions with a little guidance.
