“I loved that Carla was genuinely concerned and did her research in her own personal life to guide me through my difficulties. Even though she wasn‚Äôt a mother, she still connected through other people that were mothers and read books and listened to others with similar difficulties. She allowed me to express myself at my own pace and didn‚Äôt pressure me to complete homework or tasks, she was just there to listen, which is what I needed.”

The helping profession requires more than dedication. It requires commitment and passion to see in others the potential for growth. My education and licensure journey as Marriage and Family Therapist so far has provided me with valuable tools to serve others in the most intimate, passionate, and truthful way I can be. My goal is to treat others with dignity, compassion, and mutual respect by allowing individuals to be themselves to rediscover, heal, and continue thriving in their most unique ways. Let's unfold together the best life you can have by re-inventing yourself and feel free to choose what is best for you. My approach I'm identified as a human-centered therapist; however, I tend to be more directive, creating space for an organic connection and safety. I’ve been honored with servicing population in multiple spectrums (children, youth, adults, and elderly) and in it emerge in the complexity of being human. In my role as a therapist, I have had the pleasure of meeting and serving people across cultures, languages, sexual preferences, identities, social economic status, political views and personal experiences. I am here to continue to expand my view about the uniqueness of everyone. My communication style I tend to mimic and blend in people's conversational styles; however, I tend to be more directive and positive. My journey to mental healthcare Curiosity for human's behaviors, struggles and way of being was earlier promoted by my great-grandmother.
