Hi! I'm a Licensed Certified Social Work Clinician (LCSW-C) based in Maryland. I received my Masters from the University of Maryland and have been practicing for 16 years. I help adolescents, adults, families and couples managing emotional discourse and distress impacting their ability to function at their highest healthiest potential. I am also certified as a certified clinical trauma practitioner with expertise in various treatment modalities such as CPT, CBT, EMDR, and ACT therapies.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

The therapist changed our appointment time without confirming my availability and thanked me for “being accommodating” instead of asking. He previously arrived late and split our appointment into two sessions in one day due to overbooking. During the session, we sought help to de-escalate, but he escalated the situation, challenged decisions that were working, failed to redirect conflict, and allowed ongoing back-and-forth without intervention. He made insensitive remarks, dismissed our efforts as a “temporary solution,” and showed no attempt to repair. The session increased tension and undermined stability. This was not appropriate therapeutic care for our family.
