"IMPORTANT: Thriveworks cannot provide services to clients with Medicaid coverage. If you have Medicaid, please contact your plan directly to find an in-network provider. For all other insurance plans, Thriveworks will verify your benefits after you book through Zocdoc. If verification isn't completed before your visit, you'll be charged our self-pay rate of $200 for that session. AFTER YOU BOOK: Complete these steps to avoid cancellation or being switched to self-pay. 1. Check your email for instructions to set up your Thriveworks account. Within your Thriveworks’ account, sign consent forms and add a valid credit card, which will be automatically charged for copays, fees, post-insurance balances, and self-pay amounts. 2. If using insurance, upload clear photos of the front and back of your insurance card. 3. Expect a confirmation call from our team to verify your information and answer questions. CANCELLATION POLICY: Provide 48 hours advance notice to avoid the $135 late cancellation fee. I am a registered mental health counselor intern working toward full licensure in Florida. I earned my Master of Science in clinical mental health counseling from Walden University, where I specialized in military families and culture and addictions. I also hold a Bachelor of Health Administration from the University of North Florida, where I graduated with highest honors. I completed a year-long internship at a residential treatment facility specializing in addictions and have experience working with a range of diagnoses, including PTSD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, autism, OCD, and personality disorders. I use evidence-based approaches tailored to each client, including DBT, CBT, rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), person-centered therapy, and motivational interviewing. I believe that a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach keeps clients in the driver's seat-empowering them to find their own solutions.
